Episode 153: The Political and Economic Scene in the UK (with Ralph Keller and Ravi Bali)
|
Co-hosts Andrew Kliman and Gabriel Donnelly welcome Ralph Keller and Ravi Bali, returning guests and Marxist-Humanists located in the United Kingdom. They discuss the political and economic situation in the United Kingdom in 2026. The discussion pays particular attention to the rise of Nigel Farage and Reform UK. They consider how Labor, the Tories, and the Libdems have failed to lead any resistance to Reform. While Faragism targets the most vulnerable and is the UK’s vicious form of Trumpism, there are other issues facing the working class of the UK. To consider those other threats, the discussants also considered the affordability crisis in the UK. Plus current-events segment: Donald Trump’s threat to “nationalize” elections.
