“Twice this decade, Minneapolis has shocked the world,” writes Gabriel Donnelly in an August 30, 2026, article in With Sober Senses. “Once the vanguard of the largest multi-racial protest movement in American history, the Minneapolis proletariat are now the vanguard of the struggle against Trumpism.”
On Sunday, October 18, 2026 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm EDT, we will meet over Zoom to discuss the fierce, spontaneous resistance to Trump’s attempted occupation of Minneapolis, which we see as an important and exciting development in the struggle against Trumpism.
As Gabriel Donnelly argues in his recent article, “What is most remarkable about the Battle of Minneapolis is that the masses were successful. Out of this success has emerged the widespread understanding that Trumpism is not invincible.”
At the upcoming meeting, Gabriel Donnelly will present his recent article, “The Battle of Minneapolis: The Masses Reject Accommodationism.” Afterward, the floor will be open for further discussion. Gabriel Donnelly is a Marxist-Humanist in the New York area. He co-hosts Radio Free Humanity: The Marxist-Humanist Podcast with Andrew Kliman.
